Drink this Oriental Herbal Tea in the Morning to Improve Your Digestion and Energy Levels

In today’s modern world, you are bombarded with toxins every day. This could be from the water you drink to polluted air you breathe. Your body is further loaded with toxins with the kind of the questionable shampoos and cosmetic solution promised to improve certain health conditions. It is also common to hear that chemical additives, pesticides, hormones, antibiotics and other harmful compounds somehow found their way into the food that you eat.

Chemical toxins can have harmful effects on your body, harming your metabolism and hormones, impairing your digestive system, and zapping your energy levels. Some can’t be removed from the body. Some can be treated and remove through renal system. No matter what, once they enter into your body, you can only minimise the damage they are doing.

Now, one thing you could do in each morning as you wake up you can help your body to eliminate some of these toxins, improve your digestion, stimulate your metabolism, and boost your energy.

You can squeeze about 1/2 to 1 full lemon (depending on size of the lemon) into an 8 oz glass of warm or room temperature purified water.  Add a few slices of ginger and bring the concoction to boil for2-3 minutes. Let the liquid cool for a few minutes and drink it. This is gentler on your body first thing in the morning compared to ice cold water. Drink this at least 10 minutes before eating any food for the day.

Make sure to use fresh lemons to make this drink, and not bottled lemon juice.  You want to use fresh lemons to avoid as much pesticides as possible that can accumulate in your body.

According to a leading health publication, TheAlternativeDaily.com and medicalnewstoday.com:

Lemons contain citric acid, magnesium, bioflavonoids, vitamin C, pectin, calcium and limonene, which supercharge our immunity so that the body can fight infection.

Ginger has a long history of use for relieving digestive problems such as nausea, loss of appetite, motion sickness and pain
